A small team. A real problem.
About Pubdate
Building something useful for Irish pub owners.
Why we built this
Running a pub is full-on. You're behind the bar, managing staff, ordering stock, dealing with suppliers — and somewhere in between you're supposed to be posting on Instagram, updating Google, and replying to reviews.
Most pubs either don't do it at all, or spend hours every week on social media they're not sure is actually working. Some pay a social media manager they barely communicate with. Others just let it slide.
We built Pubdate to solve this in the simplest way possible: send a WhatsApp with what's on. We handle the rest. No apps to learn, no dashboards to manage, no weekly Zoom calls.
If you have a question before signing up, just email us. There's a real person on the other end.
Built for pub owners, not marketers
Everything is designed for someone who's never used a social media tool before. If you can send a WhatsApp, you can use Pubdate.
You stay in control
Nothing posts without your approval. We send you a preview, you tap yes, and it goes live. If you don't like something, just say so.
Irish context built in
We know about bank holidays, GAA fixtures, the Six Nations, and what a Sunday afternoon in an Irish pub looks like. That context shows in the content.
One less thing to worry about
The goal is simple: you shouldn't have to think about your pub's online presence. We handle it, and you focus on running your pub.
